As Yolisa Ngwexana could not go to the UK in November 2021 due to the scandalous "Omicron" travel ban we spontaneously organized a Christmas carols concert for her at our headquarters in Parkhurst for a selected circle of friends and opera fans. And she appeared at the RAND CLUB Christmas dinner 11th of December singing "Ave Maria" by Bach-Gounod. Finally with assistance of OPERA NORTH, who treated her and this travel challenge very fair and effective & our legal advice - SITTA CC Legal and strategic advice - she could go to the UK to sing Gilda in Verdi's "Rigoletto" between February and April 2022.
